BACKGROUND:
With digital marketing continuing to grow, the print industry has fallen on harder times. The pandemic has not helped that. Many of the events for print that have taken place historically have been cancelled. Enter Americas Print Show. This print show’s goal is to draw thousands of people and hundreds of vendors from North, Central, and South America.
SOLUTION:
I worked with the APS22 team to determine what functionality and user experience needs they had right out of the gate. With this being a new show, there have been many unknowns and many learning experiences. However, we have created a brand and a web space that has reached companies like Canon, Ricoh, Kodak and other large names.
From there, we developed a design and UX for a two-pronged audience – attendees and exhibitors. As this show has grown, we have had to develop new functionality to accommodate new needs.
This has been turned over to the team APS22 to manage content at this point, specifically blogs. However, the functionality and major web development is still maintained by me.
